Welcome to my blog!
This is a first for me and am really not sure what I am doing. I am stepping out of my comfort zone and going techno!!
My name is Yiminta and I live in Wagga with my Husband and 2 girls Ashleigh is 13 and Safiya is 16months. I think I suffer from ADHD or am a sucker for punishment, not sure which. After leaving highschool I decided to do teaching as I always wanted to be a teacher and then I got itchy feet and took a year off and came back to uni to do nursing. As a nurse I could never find my niche, I did paeds, mental health, emergency, worked in a GP practice, endoscopy clinic and even a detention centre. I ran a parenting program for parents on the methodone program, worked in sexual assault and completed my teaching by distance ed. When I finished I was offered a job at a school within a dentention centre and loved the challenge. I also worked in various behaviour areas and now work as a school counsellor whilst on maternity leave from the dentention centre. So now I thought I would try something new. I love books, I love reading and I enjoy working with children so why not be the Librarian, (well lets hope one can find a job in this field!)
Well thats me in nut shell, I hope I pass this course and not sink or end up in the mental ward.
